Discover one of the prettiest regions of the coastal Cape Fear area with this annual event that always attracts runners, walkers and joggers from all across the region and well beyond. The Carolina Beach State Park Half Marathon & 5K is a fun and yet competitive race that features some of the best scenery on the beach, and which is open to visitors of all ages and abilities.

The event features two courses - a 13.1 mile course and a 3.1 mile course – which wind through the interesting and always beautiful terrain of the Carolina Beach State Park. Participants will enjoy miles of views throughout each course, and will have the chance to win unique and distinctive prizes that commemorate the coastal event. The race begins on Saturday with an after-party that keeps the good times going. Open to anyone who wants to join in the festivities, this two-day celebration is a great way to enjoy the beauty of the Cape Fear coastline in the wintertime.
