If you’re ready to enjoy fishing in Carolina Beach, we’ve got you covered with Wet N Wild Sportfishing. Your guide for the day is Captain Keith, giving you access to years of sportfishing experience.
Around here it’s common to catch Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Blacktip Shark, Black Seabass, Grunt, Scamp Grouper, and more, depending on conditions.
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You’ll find yourself aboard the No Mercy, a 30’ Contender center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are supplied for you, bait and lures as well.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You don’t need to get a local fishing license before the trip, as it is provided. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
