About the Area

Sunset Beach is home to 241 Smooth Sailing by Sunset Vacations. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Sunset River Marketplace are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cherry Grove Pier and Rees Jones Golf Course. Ingram Planetarium and Tribal Island are also worth visiting.

When to book & When to go:

Summer months are high season in the Cape Fear area area. To find the best value, try shifting your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.

Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
