When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Wrightsville Beach. To find the largest rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Cape Fear area restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance.   • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
