This newly constructed upsized deck has impressive ocean vistas and runs the entire front length of the home. Hot out? No problem. Cool off in your private pool in the backyard, or walk the ~60 steps to get ON THE BEACH!

Flatscreen streaming TV's in every room, but with decks and beach vistas like this, you probably won't use them! Inside, the rest is all new, too (2021): beds, furnishings, floor, windows, paint, you name it! All ideally located on the quieter east end of the island!

Tips for getting the best Cape Fear area vacation home experience:

Get the best value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is an excellent way to save on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many property management companies supply Cape Fear area area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning, selecting, and booking the perfect Cape Fear area rental home:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Barefoot Breezes Luxury Beach Home. Renovated for a Fabulous Family Vacation! has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally available online. If not, email the host before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out what bed configuration is suitable for your vacation.
  • Is your group looking for special amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking
  • Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property manager about pet restrictions before booking.

Additional considerations:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
  • To make certain damages are not linked to your family's visit, record any problem areas when you arrive. message the rental manager immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a fantastic stay? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
