With Town Public Beach Access directly in front of the home, this two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath, second row home is located at 802 Ocean Blvd West and has plenty of space and privacy to accommodate all your guests. The 'Last Resort' has central AC and modest and major appliances in the full kitchen. You'll also have a washer/dryer, a stereo, a DVD player, complimentary WiFi, and a cable TV with streaming capabilities. Other amenities include two covered porches with ocean and marsh vistas, an enclosed outside shower with both hot and cold water, parking under the home, and a crab pond in the back yard.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 2 cars.

About the Area

Located in Holden Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. Lockwood Folly Country Club and River's Edge Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Magic Mountain Fun Park and Planet Fun. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Cape Fear area rental home & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Holden Beach. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Some property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
