"C&A on the beach" is a 2 bedroom condo with inspiring front row sea sights, sounds, and experiences. The complex is equipped with beach access to make our guests time beach-combing and sun-seeking an Ocean BREEZE!

THE SPACE:

Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher) has become a RAPIDLY increasing vacation (and full-time!) destination for the East coast and beyond for many reasons. It’s a family-aligned beach with a touch of everything one might be looking for! It’s an AMAZING place to visit, live, and never leave!

The suite is in the heart of Carolina Beach and is a short walk to downtown and everything that it has to offer. In Carolina Beach you’ve got the boardwalk, eateries, and local stores of all kinds. If you like adventures, the marina is also there where you can take an offshore fishing trip, diving excursion, or event boat out for a sunset sail. Camping more your thing? Bring the 4X4 and drive (and camp) on the beach at Freeman Park, located on the North End of the island. You can also head down to Kure Beach and fish directly off their fishing pier compete with bait, tackles, and more! The Carolina Beach Lake is close by, hosting a weekly Farmer’s Market every Saturday, FIREWORKS every Thursday, and outdoor summer movies on Sunday’s (on a huge inflatable screen in the middle of the lake!). We welcome you to sit back, relax and appreciate yourselves because that's exactly what the beach is for!

"C&A On The Beach!", your home-away-from-home opens up to a layout consisting of Two comfortable bedrooms, One (1) KING bed, with a private Western facing balcony and Full ensuite bathroom (#1: with a tub+shower combo) in the Master and Two (2) Twin beds in the second bedroom (bedroom #2). Bathroom #2 is located West of the living room and centrally located in the home for simple access to ALL guests!

A kitchen rests just off the living room and dining area all of which overlooks a beautiful expansive expanse of our Atlantic Ocean. The kitchen is supplied will all the basic cooking and dining silverware one can expect (plates, bowls, cups, silverware, etc.). In addition, there is a microwave, toaster, and coffer maker ready to help make yourself at home (while on Vacay!).

A few of the amenities included by your Owners include courtesy enormous Aussie shampoo and conditioner are left in the bathroom of each bath as well. Also, a roll of TP in each bathroom, 1 roll of PT in the kitchen, 2 garbage bags per garbage, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, hand soap, dish soap, a sponge, Cafe' Bustelo, Tazo Tea, and pure cane sugar in each kitchen. Additional items are likely on sight as well!

The living room features a sizable sliding door where you can watch the pelicans roost and waves crash from the comfort of nearly ANY seat in the home. Your top floor vistas give you a visually impressive expanse of blue to call your own during your stay along with outdoor amenities to dine, bask or relax in our salty island breezes. The couch coverts to a Full size futon for JUST a little additional space!

A TV and WIFI connection will ensure you stay briefly connected with the outside world before heading back to hunt for the ideal shell. (*Be sure to bring your streaming subscriptions)!

We equip each suite with its own combination of books, games, and misc. accessories to help cover the basis for our guests to enjoy themselves in rain or shine.

GUEST ACCESS:

The HOME: Guests have full access to their own private SUITE (never shared).

PARKING: Each reservation will have access to (1) ONE assigned parking space. Any additional community parking spaces would have availability on a first come first serve basis.

•Linens (sheets, bath towels, beach towels, wash cloths, floor towels, pillowcases, etc.) along with pillows and a summer comforter ARE supplied in your suite rental! Prior to departure, please assist our linen team by beginning a load before hitting to road!

•The Town of Carolina Beach offers multiple public parking options to visitors and residents on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis. Town-operated parking is open year round and paid parking is enforced March 1st - October 31st from 9AM - 8PM. Parking costs restart each morning during enforcement hours for all of the Town's parking tons and on-street parking spaces.

Kure Beach

Parking is enforced March 15 – Sept. 30 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking rates are $5 per hour. Visitors may purchase a day pass for $20, weekly pass for $100 or full season pass for $225.

GOLF CARTS

•To the county, golf carts are considered automobiles. Generally speaking, golf carts are NOT allowed on premises of ANY condo, condotel, or apartment. The same goes for trailers, motorbikes, etc. For SFR’s or properties supporting multiple cars, carts should be OK. However, be conscious that few homes have external outlets WITHOUT GFCI’S (which are code by today’s standards). Charging a cart on a GFCI will immediately trip the breaker, resulting in the inability to charge a cart amongst other repercussions. Gas carts will generally be the ideal rental option if in a home whose parking supports such.

•ALL suites are non-smoking (including vaping) and a heavy cleaning/repair charge can result if not adhered to. This includes porches, decks, balconies, and walkways.

• SWRE contractual peaceful hours begin at 9:00pm EST. Town ordinance may allow more latitude with regards to noise (11:00pm) but our expectations are to help ensure all guests, locals, and neighbors alike have an enchanting experience.

•NO BBQing on ANY decks or porches. This is a humongous fire hazard and is fineable by the town (as is removing batteries from any smoke or co2 alarms). We work extremely hard to keep all our guests safe, and sometimes that takes teamwork!

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

I will be available for check-in and general assistance until 8PM EST. Anything with the exception of an emergency (ie. flood, fire, or another *safety* related risk sent to Maintenance) will be responded to ASAP the following day :)

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
