  • Summer is high season in Ocean Isle Beach. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Cape Fear area vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.   • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends).
