The space
Carolyn’s Beach House is a freshly refreshed cavernous three-bedroom home. That features a master bedroom with a queen size bed and adjustable base, TV with Roku. Second bedroom also with a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. An entertainment room for tons of family fun, big screen intelligent TV, game table with trendy games & books to read. Whether you are taking in Southport’s pier watching dolphins passing Ships and Ferry’s, appreciating the view of the Oak Island light home and Bald Head Island or casting a fishing line. If the beach is more your style, you are in luck. The clean, family aligned, white sand beaches of Oak Island are a fast 10-min. ride from the home. We look forward to hosting your stay.

When to visit & When to book:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends).   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to inspire more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
