Escape to Bald Head in our 3 bedroom / 2 bath condo located at Royal James on Bald Head Island. We are centrally located on the island with the maritime stores, lighthouse and South Beach less than a 2 min. golf cart ride. Our home does include 1- 4 passenger golf cart. We also have wifi to appreciate during your stay! Our master suite has a king bed, the guest bedroom has a king bed with bath and the upstairs sleeping loft has 2 queen beds. The loft is appreciated by the kiddos! Savor relaxing mornings and nights on our two balconies or twist by the community pool, which is supplied in your rental.

Located in Bald Head Island, this condo is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Find your perfect vacation home:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Reserve your Cape Fear area vacation in the Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
• The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
• Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
• Property management companies usually offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
• Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
• Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would back home.
• Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
