There is parking in the parking garage across the street for a fee of $12/day. Let me know if you want to use the parking pass and I can leave it out for you and bill you separately. If not, you will have to find parking in one of the garages near by. You can also park in the metered parking which is complimentary after 6:30pm and before 9am. If you park between 9-6:30, please make sure you pay for it because they will issue parking violations.

Access is through the front door and up the elevator or stairs to the second floor where there is an access door for residents and guests only. From there, make a right and head down the hall and then a left to arrive at 2D2 which will be on your right.
This property is non smoking throughout the entire building. By booking, you agree to pay a $150 fine should you or any of your travel guests be caught smoking.

Since this unit is right downtown you will hear noise from the street below at times, mostly on weekend nights. I have supplied a sound machine for any light sleepers.

There is one King bed and a queen memory foam sleeper couch. Please mention if you will need sheets for the sleeper couch so the cleaning people know to leave them out.

How to book the best Wilmington rental experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the largest rental within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain offers and deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Planning, selecting, and booking the perfectrental:

  • Choose dates and budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Cozy Convenient downtown Condo has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available online. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what bed configuration is optimal for your group.
  • Looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must book a rental that allows animals. Get information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.

Know before you go:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
  • Upon arrival, document any issues with the property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
