Welcome to Genuine, managed by Brunswick Vacation Units! Located oceanfront in the private Dunescape community on Holden Beach's East End. Genuine is a 6-bedroom and 5-bath reverse floorplan home that sleeps 14, and offers 3 balconies, impressive ocean vistas, a private heated pool, a nature trail to the beach, a private gazebo, and access to the community tennis courts, basketball courts, and a community pool!

LIVING AREA:
The broad main living area located on the top floor has an open-concept design with enormous windows that offer an abundance of natural light and take full advantage of the striking ocean vistas. The secondary living room is located on the first level and has a wet bar, equipped with a mini refrigerator!

KITCHEN & DINING:
You'll feel right at home in this massive oceanfront kitchen with handsome quartz countertops and white subway tiles. There is an abundance of kitchen amenities (including a drip & Keurig coffee maker, air fryer, toaster, blender, pots & pans, and baking dishes) that make preparing home-cooked meals a breeze! There is seating for four at the bar, and two dining tables so your whole group will have a place to sit!

BED & BATH:
Boasting six bedrooms and five full baths - there is privacy for everybody in this gorgeous beach home. The expansive primary suite is located on the top floor. The remaining five bedrooms are on the first floor. Five bedrooms have queen beds and the sixth bedroom has a pyramid bunk bed (Twin over full) with a twin trundle that tucks under the bed for more space. Three of the downstairs bedrooms have balcony access to the expansive oceanfront patio.

OUTDOOR AREAS:
Appreciate the spectacular vistas from the two levels of expansive decks featuring sun enjoyment and shade reprieve. Take a dip in the shining heated pool, surrounded by plenty of seating and picnic tables. Walk down the wooden pathway to the private shaded gazebo and continue down the serene nature trail to the ocean and savor the private east end and Lockwood Folly inlet. Rinse off at the outdoor shower after fun-filled beach days. If you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of the local herd of deer grazing in the backyard early in the morning or around sunset.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Dunescape provides a alluring environment, with homes located in the Dunes and a common area that has tennis, pickleball, volleyball, basketball, swimming, and cabana. Meander down to the ocean, ICW, or Lockwood Folly inlet for a little fishing.

GUEST ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS:
This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.

PLEASE READ RULES / NOTES PRIOR TO BOOKING:

You must be at least 28 years old to book and if your group is not related, the average age of all adults (not including kids) must not be under 30 years old.

NO home events, prom events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, or any other events of any kind

NO Animals — if you bring an unauthorized pet you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given.

NO Smoking inside or on/around the premise

NO fire pits or deep fryers allowed on premise

Please note the fireplace is decorative only (if applicable)

Please be aware that there are exterior security cameras located on the premises directed towards the parking area and/or entrances for added security and tranquility of mind.

Due to severe allergies some homes may not allow service or support animals. You must disclose and get permission for any service and or support animals prior to booking.

Pool and/or Spa is private and unattended, so swim at your own risk. All kids must be supervised in the water at all time by an adult. No food, drinks, alcohol, glass, etc are allowed in or around the pool. Pools are serviced weekly. Please keep in mind that due to tropical nature of the island, it is not unusual to find unexpected debris and sand in the pool.

The pool is open year round. The heater typically keeps the pool water between 80-84 degrees April 1 - Oct 31 depending on outside air temperatures and weather. There is no additional cost to heat the pool, but we can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the weather and air temperatures. Please keep in mind that the heater only runs when the pump runs and typically the pump does not run at nighttime due to timers.
*Please note, pools will NOT be heated November 1 - March 31, NO EXCEPTIONS*

If your *check in date* is on or between Memorial Day and Labor Day, your cleaning fee does include whole home linen and towel rental fee. All beds will be made up upon arrival with top and fitted sheets, pillow cases, and 1 set of towels will be supplied per person (1 set includes: 1 body towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth), and a kitchen towel.
**In the off-season (Labor Day - Memorial Day), linens and towels are NOT supplied in your reservation and are an optional additional fee of $250 at the time of booking. You can choose to bring your own linens and towels, or rent through a third event. (Last min. bookings: We need at least 24-hour notice in order to provide linens!)**

​​​​​​​We provide a basic starter pack of essentials for your first day including a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, hand soap, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, and a trash can liner per bin.

About the Area

Located in Holden Beach, this vacation home is on the beach. Holden Beach and Sailfish Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Magic Mountain Fun Park and Planet Fun. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
