“Always Ride The Wave” is a freshly decorated, freshly furnished two bedroom / two bath condo located in Royal James with its own private community pool, outdoor shower and BBQ area. The handsomely refreshed kitchen is completely supplied for all your cooking desires. The master suite contains a King size bed with a private bathroom that includes a tub/shower combo. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with a bath containing a tub / shower combo. This condo has an in unit laundry closet plus both bedrooms have TV's in them. A pull out couch is in the living room for additional guests. There are two updated furnished balconies both accessible from each bedroom or main living area. The back balcony has a golf course view with ambient lighting while the front one looks over the pool. They are ideal for outdoor dining, your morning coffee or your afternoon drink  We also include a brand new 4 passenger golf cart for your Island cruising, wifi, 4 bicycles and a temporary lifestyle membership to the BHI Club and Shoals. The memberships are an additional fee purchased directly through the clubs.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this condo is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in Bald Head Island. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance.   • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers bothering your peace and quiet. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great ratings to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
