Vistas, Vistas, Vistas! This charming 6-bedroom home is located just across the street from the ocean with simple beach access just steps away (a 60-second walk or 500 paces). This impressive reverse floor plan captures the beauty of the marsh and partial ocean vistas by elevating the open concept kitchen/dining/living areas to the upper level. A two-sided wrap-around covered deck provides an impressive space to savor the vistas while appreciating your morning coffee or an evening beverage. Sunset shows take place daily (weather permitting) from the 3rd-floor terrace as the sun gently disappears over the west-facing marsh. Words can't describe the spectacular colors that fill the upper level through its many windows as the sunset show takes place each evening. Great location only 1/2 mile west of the pier makes walking/cycling for ice cream or snacks a real treat.

The kitchen is well supplied with all the amenities needed for cooking sizable family dinners. The dining table can seat up to 10 people plus an additional 3 seats at the kitchen island close by. There is also a great outdoor dining table, ideal for enjoying the ocean vistas on a gorgeous day. There are many amazing seating options along the 2 story-covered decks to take in the amazing vistas, especially the daily sunset show (weather permitting).

Don't worry about overpacking as many beach amenities are supplied including Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs (4), a beach umbrella, cooler, kids' beach toys, beach carts, and 2 beach cruiser bicycles.

Featuring two master bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), this home is ideal for two families looking to book together to appreciate a outstanding vacation at the beach. In addition, there is a modest bedroom with a queen bed as well as a bunk room complete with 2 bespoke constructed-in bunk beds, the ideal space for the kids to call their own. The 5th bedroom is located on the top level and is a sunroom that has been redesigned as an additional sleeping area, ideal for a single looking for their own space and very well may have the best vistas in the entire home. We also just finished a ground-level room into a 6th bedroom complete with a Queen Bed, 1/2 bath, mini-refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. (Please note, this room's entrance is in the carport area and outside the entrance of the main home).

Freshly purchased in March of 2022, we finished a full remodel and bespoke interior design plan that will be sure to impress. The remodel includes all new furnishings throughout the home including new beds, beds, and linens in every sleeping space. Our goal was to create a bespoke unique welcoming space for bigger groups to enjoy, while carving out unique spaces and sitting areas for smaller conversations and alone time.

How to get the best Holden Beach vacation property experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Holden Beach. Book your Cape Fear area vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Cape Fear area visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides contain discounts for nearby shops and restaurants.

Make a plan and choose a perfectrental home:

  • Start by choosing your vacation dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group needs. Live Elevated - Beautifully designed home with amazing ocean and marsh views! has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Cape Fear area vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before you book the property. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what configuration is optimal for your group.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs might be applied to your agreement.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

Advice for a great stay:

  • We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few concerns.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect your property!
  • Upon arrival, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Re-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
