You'll adore the mix of modern and historic in this condo! The main level features the open concept living room, dining area, and kitchen. The soaring 30ft ceiling near the staircase makes it feel much bigger than it is. Guests will have access to the entire condo during their stay. We do have a locked owner's closet for our storage, but otherwise everything in the condo is available to use.

This unit is self check in. Hosts will be available through messaging.

We provide a parking pass for one car in the parking garage that is located across the street from the building.

Tips and Tricks to get the optimal Cape Fear area vacation home experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the best value, try changing your vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Some owners offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Many management companies supply Cape Fear area area visitor guide magazines that include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Selecting and booking a perfectrental home:

  • Start by choosing trip dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Modern Blues - Downtown Location with Parking has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.
  • Looking for special amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Put the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • To make certain no damages are attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. Speak to the rental manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to compel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
