How to book the best Cape Fear area rental home experience:

When to book a Cape Fear area rental & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Cape Fear area area. To find the best value, try changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitor guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Begin by choosing your vacation dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Newly Remodeled - Secret Gem, Wooded, Private, Close to Beach, Market & BHI Club has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Cape Fear area rental home search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always accessible online. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before you book the property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If there's a specific Cape Fear area attraction you are crazy about, look for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property manager about your furry family members before booking.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home.
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the property manager immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
