• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. Reserve your rental home in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
• In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
• Property managers typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.
