This handsome condo has a marvelous view of the ocean and the pool. It's a roomy one-bedroom with a king bed, a top-floor unit for up to six guests. The pool is humongous (closes October 1) and has a gated grass area with a bbq and private beach access. Linens are supplied! There is ample parking, and it's close to the eateries and nightlife! You will adore this top-floor oceanfront unit!

Interaction with guests:
Since we travel all the time, we use a fantastic management company that has been in the tourism industry for many years. They will be able to answer any questions and take care of any issues 24 hrs a day. Please savor this home as if it were yours.

I will supply you with an electronic code before you arrive. This will allow you to enter the front door. An owner's storage downstairs has some of my things inside. Feel complimentary to use that for your beach stuff.

About the Area

Located in Wilmington Beach, a neighborhood in Carolina Beach, this condo is near theme parks and on the beach. Ocean Front Park and Federal Point History Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to a budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Cape Fear area area. Reserve your Cape Fear area vacation in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to compel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
