When to reserve a Cape Fear area rental & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Holden Beach. To book the largest rental home within budget, we recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
