When entering this striking home, you may skip a breath due to its beauty. The first bedroom is located to the left of the entry. The second bedroom is located beside the first bedroom. Included in the second bedroom is a bathroom with double vanities. The third bedroom is towards the back, next to the gathering room. This bedroom has a shared bathroom with the second bedroom. The shared bathroom has his/her sink along with more pretty decor.

The gathering room is equipped with enough seating for you and your family. Watch your favorite shows on the TV. Play a few games with family and friends and make it a competition nighttime. Room darkening shades are supplied for comfort. Aside from the gathering room is the elevator. No need to carry all of your bags up the stairs with this perk.

On to the second floor is the great room. Adorned with you in mind, this perhaps may be the most serene room. Flowing from the great room is the dining area, where you can reminisce on good times and plan your next adventure while feasting on your favorite meal. There is a bathroom off to the side of the dining area.

The cavernous kitchen is located behind the great room and is outfitted with all of the basic cooking essentials and more: two dishwashers, two fridges, and a Keurig. Show off those cooking skills in the kitchen. Whip up your favorite dish and serve it to the family. A half bath is located near the kitchen. The master bedroom is located behind the kitchen. This sizable room has its own private bathroom.

Cost saving strategies:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Oak Island. Booking in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
