Finding the best Ocean Isle Beach vacation rental experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a Ocean Isle Beach rental home:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Cape Fear area area. Book your Cape Fear area vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area travel guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning, picking, and booking a perfect Cape Fear area rental:

  • Begin by choosing vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. “THIS IS US” – NEWLY RENOVATED 5BD\/4BA HOUSE has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before booking your rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

More considerations:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, elevator or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, record any problem areas upon check in. text the host immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to drive future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
