About this Property

  • 2 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home

This oceanfront duplex has gorgeous spectacular vistas from every side! Our recent updates include all new kitchen lighting, refreshed bathtub shower, new king bed set, new queen and double beds, as well as a pyramid bunk set. On the back porch savor all new Polywood rocking chairs with constructed-in cup holders! Come and see for yourself! Step outside and experience the impressive sunrise and sunset vistas from the enormous covered porches outside the living room and upstairs master bedroom. The sizable extended sun deck on the dunes brings you even closer to the waves! On the other side, there are no homes to block the view, which means the street side bedrooms share unobstructed, calming marsh vistas from every window.

Bed linens supplied (Beds in bedrooms only) for nightly and weekly units. No Towels included but can be rented.

There is plenty of room for up to 9 people, but if you need more space for extended family or friends, you can accommodate up to 18 people by renting the other side (if available) and opening up the whole home to your group. This provides twice the space (including another full kitchen) and is effortlessly accessible through the connecting downstairs lock-out doors. When it's time to re-stock or have a snack, it's only a 5 min. walk to the island fishing pier, grocery store and beautiful oceanfront ice cream/snack shop. On the way back you can appreciate the wide assortment of unique shells that are often ample along our beach and make sure you enjoy the Enclosed Outdoor Hot/Cold Shower during your stay.

We're sure you'll agree that it's nothing less than (Turtley) Heaven!

Strategies for getting the best vacation rental experience:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in Holden Beach. To book the largest rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Selecting the perfect vacation home in Holden Beach:

  • Start by having your group agree to vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Turtley Paradise East - Rent East & West Sides for Large Groups has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible online. If they are not listed, email the property management company before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or costs might be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's a particular Cape Fear area destination you are enamored with, search for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of issues.
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Make contact with the rental manager immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be respectful. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to inspire more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
