The home offers a great reverse floor plan so you can take advantage of the wrap around porch with ocean vistas upstairs. The screened in porch is a great hangout spot leaving you feeling the ocean breeze while watching the best sunsets on the island. Savor your own master suite upstairs with your private entrance to the back deck to savor your morning coffee. Right by the kitchen also has another bedroom that offers a double size bed and a sleeper couch showing great vistas of the other side of Bald Head. We have a great open floor plan that comes with an refreshed kitchen with stainless steel appliances with a living room and dining room right beside making it great for entertainment and family time. Downstairs has 3 bedrooms (Bedroom 1: 1 bunk bed with double and twin size, Bedroom 2: 1 Queen, Bedroom 3: 1 King) each with their own attached bathroom!
No Regret is located right around the corner from the Bald Head Island club which offers great amenities and you are a hop, skip, and jump from South Beach Accesses. We look forward to having you appreciate our home leaving with no regrets!

Cost saving strategies:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. To get the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.

  • To start, have your group commit to a vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Welcome to No Regrets has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible online. If they are not listed, call the host before you reserve the property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your group.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or charges may be applied to your invoice.
  • Looking for special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • During arrival, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your peaceful home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to inspire future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
