About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this condo is near the beach. Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. • The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
• Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To find the best value, consider changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
• Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.

If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it.
