This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home was completely modernized in 2018 and is gorgeously decorated. The ocean and sunset vistas are one of a kind! Savor the breezes on the two screen porches or soak up the sunshine on the open deck. The open floor plan is ideal for family gatherings or couples looking for a hideaway. The kitchen is well appointed with a Keurig coffee maker and features a enormous granite island with bar seating. The furnishings is modern and selected for comfort. Each bedroom is outfitted with comfortable beds, TVs and oscillating wall fans. This home features two master suites upstairs both having king size beds. Downstairs there is a bunk room that includes two twins and two double beds. There is also a king bedroom downstairs which shares a full bath with the bunk room. The home is pet friendly and your four-legged family members are welcome! We have a bespoke, constructed-in dog kennel, a travel crate and an outdoor dog washing station. We have 2 golf carts (4 passenger & 6 passenger), 2 bicycles, charcoal grille and plenty of beach gear. Nothing has been overlooked and we know you will be pleased in this home. A permanent UV air purifier has been installed in the home to help stop the spread of germs, viruses and odors.

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach, while Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights. When to visit & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in the Cape Fear area area. Booking in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.

  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
