Pastel-colored rooms reflect the sunlight and cheer of the beach. The dining area has a table seating six plus four more seats at the kitchen counter. Features include stainless steel appliances, device charging station, wireless internet access, a high chair, infant gate, books, games/puzzles, DVD library, plus an outside shower. Both upstairs bedrooms have private oceanfront decks each with a table and two chairs. The sizable, covered, oceanfront porch has rocking chairs and a picnic table for dining outside. There is an additional picnic table and charcoal grille on the ground level.

Though no family pets are allowed for guests, please note that dogs are occasionally present during an owner reservation for those guests who are allergic to dogs.

About the Area

Located in Oak Island, this vacation home is on the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Caswell Beach and 57th Place West Access Park. Traveling with kids?   • In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to compel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review.
