Get the most from your spending budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses.
