  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Oak Island. Booking in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
