3 Bedrooms | 2 Full Bathrooms
1 King | 2 Queens | 2 Twins | 1 Double Futon

Let the Beachside Breeze caress your face as you sip your morning coffee on the private balcony at this pretty, modern condo. Located in the Palms at Long Bay condo complex, you’ll find one of the most private stretches of East Beach only a two-min. walk away while also appreciating painless walkability to shopping, dining, grocery stores, ice cream stores and more. No need to leave Fido behind as this rental accepts up to two dogs per reservation.

The cavernous open-concept living area is designed with flexibility in mind. Appreciate a favorite show or movie on the enormous flat screen TV from the huge couch. A set of four ottomans provide storage and can act as additional seating or a handy surface for playing one of the supplied board games- or hand of Texas Hold Em utilizing the available cards and poker chips.

For those who may still have work or school responsibilities during their stay, a desk tucked into the corner provides a convenient work-space. The sturdy dining table is arranged for four, with room to pull up two more chairs and an additional four seats at the adjacent breakfast bar. A card table and four folding chairs are also supplied if more seating is needed.

The kitchen features gleaming wood cabinets and quartz countertops. The glass-top stove makes for simple clean-up after cooking, and this space is entirely supplied with everything you need to prepare favorite family meals or the catch of the day. Just across from the kitchen is the laundry closet, equipped with a full-sized washer and dryer conveniently located in the center of the action to help ensure you don’t forget to turn that load of wet beach towels over before heading to bed.

Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with its own flat screen TV, so you’ll never have to argue about what to watch before bed at the end of a long day filled with adventure! The primary bedroom is located just off the living room and provides a king bed as well as a standard futon for calming or additional sleeping space as needed. In addition to a private bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo, this suite features direct access to the unit’s balcony overlooking the pool.

The additional two bedrooms share access to a hall bath beside the laundry closet. This bathroom also features a standard tub/shower combo along with a handheld shower head, an nearly essential tool for rinsing all the sand off of little ones after a day on the beach! Down the hall from the shared bath, you’ll find each bedroom equipped with a twin bed and a queen bed. One room features a bean bag chair that every kid and kid-at-heart will adore to flop down onto!

Your private covered balcony overlooks the condo complex’s pool deck below. Complete with outdoor seating, this space is close enough to the ocean that you can hear the crash of the surf and smell the salt in the air. You’ll notice there’s no shortage of the Beachside Breeze this condo is named for! In addition to the seasonal pool and soaking tubs, community amenities include an outdoor shower station and elevators.

When you’re ready to hit the sand, use the included beach cart to haul your gear with ease. Beach chairs and toys are also included for your convenience. A short walk along SE 59th Street at the back of the complex provides a fast and easy path to the beach. Because this public access point does not have any parking spaces, it is relatively secluded. To the east, you’ll find one of the most private sections of East Beach thanks to a numerous block stretch of undeveloped scrubland along the dune-line and public access points with limited parking spaces.

In the evenings, walk to eateries like local favorite Thai and Vine, beach stores, an arcade, candy store, ice cream stores and more. And if you'd rather craft the ideal appetizers and drink to savor on the beach yourself, Food Lion and the ABC Store are each less than a half mile away. This charming location really does provide the best of both worlds!

Ensure that your next family vacation is a Beachside Breeze and book your stay today!

The Palms pool area also contains one non-heated soaking tub and one heated soaking tub. Neither tub has jets. The pool area is open annually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Specific condo communities may keep the pool open past Labor Day depending on the homeowner's association's recommendation.

Cape Fear area rental property booking tips:

When to reserve a Cape Fear area rental & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Book your Cape Fear area vacation in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitors guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning, picking, and booking a perfect Cape Fear area rental home:

  • Choose a group leader, select your vacation week, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Beachside Breeze: Modern Condo in Walking Distance to Beach, Dining, Shops has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. If not, call the property manager before you book your home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what is right for your vacation group.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you must book a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

More tips for your stay:

  • We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, make note of any problem areas during check in. message the host right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
