• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Oak Island. To get the most suitable rental for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Cape Fear area attractions.
• Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
• Property managers usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection.
