Our bungalow, bespoke constructed for us from shipping containers, was designed to meet our need for a guest home that took advantage of a modest footprint while offering max. comfort & amenities.

It is located on our property with a privacy fence surrounding, with private access in our peaceful and peaceful neighborhood.

We are centrally located halfway between Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington.

Wilmington is home to this cottage. Bellamy Mansion Museum and Burgwin-Wright House are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Wrightsville Beach and Halyburton Park. New Hanover County Arboretum and Cape Fear Paddleboarding are also worth visiting.

Get the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • Booking your Cape Fear area vacation home in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Property management companies typically offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection.   • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let crooks spoil your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to compel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best rental home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
