Come and stay at our comfortable 4 bedroom bungalow located right by the oldest lighthouse in NC and the ferry landing. With just steps away from the neighborhood dock, this home will leave you in your own getaway. This home offers a traditional floor plan with the living room and kitchen on the 1st floor. Just a few steps into the second floor offers a half bath and the master queen bed suite with its own ensuite. The top floor has a queen bedroom with its own bathroom and 2 more bedrooms, one with 2 bunk beds and a trundle (5 twins) and another with a queen bed that share a hall bath. We have 2-4 pass golf carts to take and discover all of the islands great amenities including the Bald Head Island club for separate purchase.

Lighthouse Landing, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island, is home to this vacation home. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Bay Beach and Caswell Beach. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Get the most from your rental home budget:

  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Cape Fear area attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.

If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it.
