Sand Dollar Cottage is an open floor plan home with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths on the gorgeous Bald Head Island. Walking distance to South Beach and short cart ride to the market and marina. The home was freshly professionally redesigned and refreshed with a coastal interior. The elegantly refreshed kitchen has all new appliances, cabinets, and countertops. The cavernous family & dining area is open to the Carolina room for additional living space. Savor the sound of the ocean from the enormous deck with phenomenal seating areas, dining table & grille.

The bungalow has two primary bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and two additional bedrooms.

The village of Bald Head Island is a golf cart only community. The bungalow includes 2 golf carts (4 persons each). While the island has a limited number of businesses, there are numerous eateries, stores, and a market for groceries.

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is by the sea. When to visit & When to book:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. To get the best value, change your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
