You can appreciate the tranquility of Sunset Beach and, when the mood strikes, discover all the various activities and nighttime life of Myrtle Beach just 15 miles down the road. Interestingly, because the Island actually orients east-west, you are spoiled by elegant sunsets on the beach. (Hence the name.)
