If your ideal beach rental looks like it jumped right off of the page of a Southern Living magazine, then we have just the place for you to Let The Fin Begin! Located on the canal with broad vistas of the Intracoastal Waterway with a private boat dock, this intimate home is bright and flooded with natural light.

The living room provides plenty of comfortable seating to watch a favorite movie together on the huge flatscreen TV, or appreciate a game of cards around the coffee table while soaking in the spectacular view instead! You’ll find a roomy dining table that comfortably seats eight located between the living room and kitchen, with bar stools available at the kitchen counter for additional seating. The modern kitchen is completely equipped for preparing your favorite meals or fresh catch of the day.

Just off the living room you’ll find the master bedroom with attached bath and direct deck access with a view. Off of the kitchen are two more bedrooms that share a full bathroom with hall access. All bedrooms on the upper floor have queen beds.

On the ground level, you’ll find the garage. This area has its own private entrance and is not directly accessible from the upper floor.

The front and back porches provide plenty of outdoor seating. Kids and adults alike can savor the grassy backyard. While the boat dock is available for guest use, the attached boat lift is not an available amenities. As an added additional, the public boat ramp is less than a block away, as is the Lonerider Restaurant and Bar.

Guests with allergies should note that dogs are occasionally present during an owner or owner guest stay.

About the Area

Located in Oak Island, this vacation home is on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Holden Beach and Ocean Isle Beach. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting.   • The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to compel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback.
