About this Property

Visit the most adorable oceanside village! Southport, with it's beautiful waterfront, exceptional eateries, and adorable stores, has something for everybody. When you feel like staying closer to home, the pool will be calling your name for soaking in the sun while watching the ships sail by, and your private balcony is the ideal spot to sip a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over the water.

Things to know:
Studio condo (no dishwasher or cooktop) + kitchenette + WiFi/cable tv
Waterfront beach access + shared pool

Constructed in 2024, this brand new condo is a studio with a kitchentte (excluding an cooktop, dishwasher and oven, but there is a countertop toaster oven), dining table with seating for two, two queen beds and a full bathroom with walk-in glass shower. There is also an east facing balcony with two chairs, ideal to watch the morning sunrise. Air conditioning and heat supplied is by an in-wall mini-split style unit. The property is right on the Cape Fear river with a resort beach, pool and patio all waterfront. It is located one half-mile to downtown, so it is a great location if you want to walk to dinner and the striking stores and not worry about parking.

All guests will have access to the entire condominium property including beach, pool, patio and elevators. The association also puts on regularly scheduled events and guests are welcome to attend all events on the property.

Every Thursday nighttime from late spring to early fall there are food trucks and live music scheduled on the condo patio by the pool and beach!

Please also note, while the property does have a beach, the beach is actually off of the Cape Fear River, not the Atlantic Ocean. You are welcome to swim in the water, just be mindful it can be rather rocky at times and won't be your typical ocean/beach experience. Also, there is a “beware of alligator” sign on the beach. This was put there by the condo association as a precaution as there have been alligators spotted on the beaches in Southport previously. As with any NC beach, alligators are always possible in the area but we have never seen any ourselves during any of our previous visits nor have any of our guests ever let us know about any encounters.

About the Area

Located in Southport, this condo is on the beach. Old Brunswick County Jail Museum and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Bald Head Island Information Center. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting. With jet skiing, kayaking, and snorkeling nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

Our top Vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitor guides which will include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to pick the best vacation rental:

  • Start by choosing your vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. No Cleaning Fee! Brand New Double Queen Studio Condo w\/ Waterfront Pool + Beach has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If not, email or call the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few issues.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • To make sure damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, note any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the host right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
