If you're looking for an oceanfront stay in one of the best locations on Carolina Beach with awesome ocean vistas then look no further! Our unit is in the heart of Carolina Beach with walking access to the boardwalk, downtown, and local eateries! Parking in CB is hard to find downtown and is pricey, so just park for the week and walk everywhere! We are steps from the Boardwalk and downtown eateries.

Savor coffee on the deck to sunrises, and beach access just 20 yards from our steps! Our unit is filled with sunshine and ocean vistas out every window! This preferred condominium will sleep up to 4 people (two on sleeper couch) and is ideal for a charming hideaway or a modest family. There is a space in the bedroom the ideal size for a pack and play, or toddler to sleep.

The charming wide beach is just steps from our beach closet, which holds two "Tommy Bahama" chairs for your use, and we have a lifeguard station directly in front of us, along with great shelling and surf lessons right in front too!

The bedroom has 2 windows, one with a great ocean view, one facing sound side, and a queen bed. Multiple windows in the living area make it feel as if you are right on the beach! You can watch summer months, Thursday nighttime fireworks from the deck, and the living room and deck offer a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean and miles of beach. The sunrises are AWESOME!

Carolina Beach is the idyllic sleepy, friendly and safe little beach town, yet it features tons of activities to fill your vacation! Whether on a romantic hideaway, or with the kids, the freshly remodeled boardwalk area, (which is a half-block from our condo) has something for everybody--swings to watch dolphins swim by, live bands, carnival rides, Britt's Donuts, and tons more! In the summer months, activities are scheduled every nighttime, such as bingo, bands, and fireworks on the beach. Family movies are shown on the lake--also within walking distance--on Sunday evenings and are great family fun, as is a walk on the Kure Beach Pier, just down the road. This sleepy little town makes for a sweet hideaway for couples as well with romantic nights on the deck, great sushi, and craft beers, and fun trips into Wilmington for tapas and touring.

The ocean view bedroom has a queen bed. Crisp clean sheets, fresh towels, and a fresh bathmat are included with the cleaning fee, all in a tote when you arrive. There is a sleeper couch with an air/coil bed that can be adjusted to comfort in the living room. We keep our place immaculate, just as we would want if we rented, and as you should expect.

There are just nine units in our building, which is the closest building to the beach on the island. Our 3rd-floor condo (walk up! Keep in mind when booking) has expansive vistas which are spectacular. There are no buildings or streets directly behind us so our building is very peaceful. Great shelling and surf lessons right in front too!

Please see the photos to see just how close we are to the freshly refreshed boardwalk area! Our condo has newly been redecorated, including fresh paint, floor, and a new bathroom and appliances including washer dryer. The building has newly been painted.

We have 2 cable TVs, full wireless internet, and cable. Our deck has 2 pub-height chairs with a matching table where you can appreciate drinks and view the fireworks! We have a storage closet at beach level, where you will find beach chairs, and be able to store your items safely. There is a ground-level shower just below the building. Just bring your beach towels and swimsuits, we have everything else you might need. We have two huge designated uncovered parking spots with our unit (NOTE: no golf carts, boats, or motorbikes are allowed.)

There is so much to do at Carolina Beach! The North Carolina Aquarium is at the south end of the island next to historic Fort Fisher. Daily programs include divers who swim with sharks and a touching pond for the kids. Just north of our condo is the marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat units. A fifteen-min. drive takes you to the city of Wilmington. The historic riverfront downtown has brick streets, waterfront eateries, loads of antique stores, horse-drawn carriage rides, the battleship NC, and exceptional eateries. Day trips on the ferry to Southport are so enchanting, as is a walk on the pier at Kure Beach! Tony Silvagni teaches all ages to surf right in front of our place. The Carolina Beach State Park hosts stand-up paddling and nature walks. Carolina Beach is bursting with new businesses, breweries, and great food.

You could literally park your car and never use it, as so much, including downtown Carolina Beach, is within walking distance of our place!

We hope you plan your stay with us! We do all we can to make your vacation fabulous. We include a tote with bed linens, bath towels and mat, and kitchen towels with your cleaning price. (PLEASE NOTE, this does not include comforters or blankets.) Please call or contact me with any questions. (There is no pool at our building)

****Please note before renting.... there is definitely NO SMOKING/NO VAPING in our building at all, not on the decks, stairways, or on the property in general per our HOA. No family pets are allowed, and no loud events or music. This is closely monitored by the year-round residents, same with pets, no pets, and will result in eviction) Ours is a nine-unit building conducive to couples and modest families.

We recommend a weekly umbrella rental (and surf lessons) with Tony Silvangi or Pleasure Island units.

Tips for getting the best vacation rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Carolina Beach. To get the best value, try shifting your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Often, property management companies supply Cape Fear area area visitors guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning and picking the right Cape Fear area vacation home:

  • To start, have your group decide on date ranges and a max budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Walk to the Boardwalk and downtown Carolina Beach! Oceanfront ! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible on booking websites. If not, email or call the property manager before reserving the home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs might be applied to your agreement.
  • Is your family looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent a lot of problems.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • Document any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great time? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
