This gorgeous home affords sizable comfortable rooms in its 2500 square feet. Plenty of space for people to gather for fun and fellowship, yet five bedrooms and five baths offer space for privacy as well. Upon arrival, you'll find the beds made with comfortable linens and fluffy towels included (see Note Two). A well-appointed kitchen is outfitted with everything needed to prepare delicious meals. (Want to grille? Underneath the home, you will find both a charcoal grille and a gas grille.) A commercial ice maker provides all the ice you'll need. The huge dining table seats ten, and the counter stools add seating for six more. The roomy living area feels even bigger with nine-foot ceilings. Need another sizable space? The second floor sunroom affords ample seating and another TV and, best of all, a wide and unimpeded view of the ocean. The vistas from the large front porch and second-floor deck are charming.

Start off your day sipping coffee while swaying back and forth in the gazebo swing. The oranges and reds of sunrise spell the beginning of a fun and colorful beach day! Whip up a yummy breakfast, then walk down the boardwalk of this mid-island home right onto the soft sands of the widest section of the island's beach.

Sunbathe and read, frolic in the tidal pools, body surf or ride the waves on body boards. Walk the beach and collect shells for miles in either direction. Want to check on what fisherman are catching? Drop by the pier which is just a five-min. walk away. Interested in putt-putt, ice-cream, beach stores, eateries, the coastal museum, or a brand new park? They are all within an painless ten-min. walk from this prime island location.

Ready for a dip in fresh water? This home offers one of the biggest pools on the island with comfortable calming chairs surrounding it. Need a drink? A second refrigerator located in the storage room just outside the pool gate provides ample room for food and drink without having to walk up any stairs!

Jump in your car and be off the island in five mins. for grocery shopping at Lowe's or Publix or just down the road a bit to Food Lion. Pick up fresh seafood and local produce to prepare at the home. Nearby eateries offer amazing and tasty variety on those nights you don't want to prepare.

Feeling the need to hit a little while ball? Numerous quality golf courses are within a fifteen-min. drive. Visit Myrtle Beach or Wilmington, each only 40 mins. away.

As afternoon flows into evening, and air turns mauve in color, hit the beach to experience the elegant turquoises and purples and fuchsias of sunset. Sit in your beach chair and appreciate the peaceful of day's end on the beach. After dinner, go out on the upper deck or boardwalk or back on the beach to marvel at the evening sky with the moon's shine and diamond blinks of thousands of stars.

TVs and puzzles and games provide nighttime time entertainment. (On Friday nights in the summer, stroll to the park beside the museum for a complimentary concert featuring live bands and an area for dancing.) Sit on the porch and rock to the rhythm of the ocean waves, relax into the softness of the ocean breeze. Reflect on the end of another ideal Ocean Isle Beach day!

Booking the best Ocean Isle Beach vacation home experience:

When to visit Ocean Isle Beach & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To book the best rental within your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Cape Fear area attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Often, management companies supply Cape Fear area area travel guides that include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select your vacation week and spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your family requires. OCEAN FRONT, LARGE POOL, MID-ISLAND, \nFIVE BEDROOMS AND BATHS, 2500 SQ. FT. has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the host before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property management company about your furry family members before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many problems.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • During check-in, note any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
