This comfortable one bedroom apartment is located in a Historic Mansion on Front Street. Walking distance to all of the stores, eateries, and bars in downtown Wilmington, this is the ideal home base for your stay. The entire apartment has been freshly remodeled in a way that mixes modern amenities with the appeal of a historic home. With a designated off street parking spot that is rare in downtown, you'll be able to discover the history of Wilmington hassle complimentary.

This impressive one bedroom apartment was just lovingly refreshed from floor to ceiling. The roomy kitchen is entirely outfitted with all of the essentials that you would need to savor a home cooked meal during your stay. The sizable dining table offers plenty of space for your morning coffee or evening meal. The bedroom includes a king sized bed and closet space for your clothes. There is also a couch where you can relax and watch TV as you wind down after a day of exploring. Off of the bedroom, there is a full bathroom with a tiled walk in shower. This property also has a washer/dryer for use during your stay.

Guests will have access to the entire apartment as well as a designated parking space in the gravel lot behind the home. We do have a locked closet for owner storage, but other than that you are able to use anything in the home. There are 5 other apartments in this home, but they all have a completely separate entrance. The only shared spaces are the backyard and parking areas.

When to visit & When to book:

  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.

Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what is optimal for your family.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs might be applied to your contract.

  • Document any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
