Welcome to Sandpiper Cottage, an ocean side property with an ocean view, private beach walkway just steps to the beach, and it's dog friendly! Savor a vacation of relaxation, convenience, sand and sea at Sandpiper Cottage here in Carolina Beach. Sandpiper Cottage has two ocean view balconies as well as vistas from the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The couch has a pull-out queen size bed available with linens included. The kitchen is supplied with dishes, silverware, as well as basic appliances such as a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, oven, wash/dryer, and coffee machine. We also provide bed linens and bath towels, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and enough garbage bags for a short terms stay. If you are looking to discover the island, we have two beach cruiser bicycles available in the garage. If you would like to grille out, we have a propane grille on-site. This property is dog friendly, with a limit of 2 dogs and a non-returnable pet fee.

We are a little island but with tons of fun things to do: the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher Civil War museum, our famed boardwalk, two fishing piers, Britt's Donuts (an institution since 1939), Squigley's Ice Cream Shop, and Freeman Park - where you can drive out and camp right on the beach. We offer complimentary live bands, carnival rides, and fireworks during the summer and of course have some delicious seafood eateries. What more could you want? Town of Carolina Beach Dog Rules - All dogs are required to be on a leash at all times. April 1st through September 30th, dogs are allowed on the beach during restricted hours BEFORE 9:00 a.m. and AFTER 5:00 p.m. Dogs are not allowed on the beach between 9AM-5PM. October 1st through March 31st,dogs are allowed on the beach during all hours.
