Have you gone "Coast to Coast?" Look no further for your ideal coastal hideaway than this freshly modernized 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanfront home on Oak Island! Located on the coveted West End of the island, Coast to Coast features comfort and relaxation for you and the entire family. Highlights include direct beach access, multiple outdoor decks overlooking the Atlantic, an open floor plan with relaxing coastal vibes, and modern touches throughout. You'll also notice the home is located less than 2 miles from the Ocean Crest Pier and close to many of the amazing local eateries and stores!

One of our favorite features of this home is the broad oceanfront deck! It's ideal for appreciating your morning coffee while listening to the waves, lying out in the sun during the afternoon, or calming while watching the sunset in the evening with your favorite beverage in hand. There's even a dining table that's great for gathering around to grab a fast lunch or have a oceanside family dinner together. From here, you just need to walk down the back steps to get to your direct beach access.

Inside, you'll find a cavernous living room with beautiful vaulted ceilings and ample windows to take in the exceptional ocean vistas! Unwind and relax on the jumbo sectional couch and watch your favorite shows together on the enormous flatscreen TV. A few steps away is the completely equipped chef's kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, plenty of counter space, and a handsome kitchen island with bar seating for up to 3. When you're ready to sit down for a meal together, the bright and airy dining area has seating for up to 8.

And, when it's time to rest and recharge, you'll find each bedroom is equipped with intelligent TVs and ceiling fans. The primary suite is on the second floor and features a king-size bed along with a private oceanside balcony where you can escape for a peaceful moment away from it all. The primary bathroom on this top level offers a elegantly tiled walk-in shower, modern finishes, and an extended vanity to give you plenty of counter space. The second bedroom upstairs with two bunk beds makes for a great coastal getaway for the younger travelers in your group. You'll even find a additional loft area on this floor with a couch and TV area that's elegant for the kids to hang out after the day at the beach.

Heading back downstairs, you'll find two additional serene bedrooms! The first has gorgeous ocean vistas and a queen-size bed, while the second offers peaceful community vistas and a queen-size bed. These bedrooms share the downstairs bathroom, which is just as spa-like as the primary bathroom, with a roomy tiled walk-in shower, modern finishes, and an extended vanity.

But all of this is only the start of the marvelous amenities you'll have when you stay here! There is an outside shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after a day at the beach, wireless internet, and so much more. If one thing is sure, heaven awaits you at Coast to Coast!

Tips and Tricks for getting the best Oak Island vacation property experience:

Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • To find the best value, shift your trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitors guide magazines which include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning and choosing your Cape Fear area rental home:

  • First, have your family select trip dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Renovated Oceanfront Cottage w\/ Direct Beach Access: Coast to Coast has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property management company before you reserve your home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking

More tips for your stay:

  • Add the host's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
  • To make certain damages are not attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Call the rental manager immediately to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to compel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
