Tips to get the best Cape Fear area vacation rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Carolina Beach. Booking your Cape Fear area vacation home in Fall or Spring months is a great way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitor guides which include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Filter your rental search:

  • Select dates and maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your family requires. Saagara Thira Summary has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible online. If not, call the property manager before you book the rental. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
  • If there's a certain Cape Fear area attraction you crave, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Request information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Advice for a great stay:

  • We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Upon arrival, document any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of concerns.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
