This home is new construction (2020) with upgraded furnishings! It is surrounded by handsome Live Oak trees and is on a peaceful street only a pleasant seven-block walk to Waterfront Park and all the great eateries and stores that historic Southport has to offer. NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE BEACH!! It is on the Cape Fear River and Intercoastal Waterway, with fabulous vistas across the river. If you want to walk to the beach, this home is not for you!
The home has three bedrooms plus a study, making comfortable private sleeping for eight guests. The Master Suite has a king bed, Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, Bedroom 3 has twin XL beds, and the Study includes twin trundle beds (best for the kids). One of our most frequent comments is how comfortable our beds are!
Double front porches make for calming and socializing. A sizable Rec Room features an 8' slate bed pool table!
Generous (65") TVs are located in the Family Room and the Rec Room. YouTubeTV is included for your viewing.
Within painless walking distance of Southport's famed downtown area, a fifteen-min. drive of beautiful white sand beaches, and with all the comfort offered in this home, you'll have a excellent vacation here!

About the Area

Southport is home to this vacation home. The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Carolina Beach and Fort Fisher State Recreation Area. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting.
