  • To find the best value, try shifting your family's Cape Fear area vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, , and reduced traffic.   • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
