We are located on the charming, peaceful West Beach, but only a short distance to many of the Island sweet spots!
Middleton Park (kid friendly water park and playground, Farmer’s Market, and Summer Concerts in the Park), Pepperoni Grille (great pizza!), the canal at 40th street (enjoy crabbing and fishing), the Island Way restaurant (a treat for outdoor drinks and dining) and the 9th Street Pier (great for fishing), and more! For additional adventures, head into the historic sea town of Southport for some shopping, or catch the ferry to Fort Fisher aquarium. You can also catch the ferry to Bald Head Island.

About the Area

Located on the waterfront, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Old Brunswick County Jail Museum and Bald Head Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to visit Oak Island & When to book:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Cape Fear area area. Reserve your vacation home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.   • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
