How about 5 bedrooms, 4 baths and an gorgeous rental completely refreshed top to bottom! The kitchen was well planned for all the foodies in your family. It is cavernous enough for entertaining and has all the bells and whistles for your family dinners and entertainment. Downstairs we have an open living floor plan as well as 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 screen porches and roomy front porch facing the Atlantic ocean. Upstairs is a private master king suite and a private balcony overlooking the ocean. There are also vistas of the golf course and lagoon from your upstairs suite.

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. With kayaking, sailing, and surfing/body boarding nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

When to book a Cape Fear area rental home & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Cape Fear area area. To get the best vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Cape Fear area attractions and restaurants.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses.   • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
