This completely refreshed 3 bedroom / golf course view condo located in the Royal James Community is really a rare find on BHI. This home has it all and nothing has been over looked! The kitchen is well outfitted and the entire home is professionally decorated to the notch. Savor your morning coffee on our back deck over looking the award winning golf course. Royal James also has a community pool, which is ideal and convenient. We are centrally located on the island with the beach less than a min. golf cart ride (6 passenger golf cart) and the BHI Club the same. We have access to the BHI Club, which may be purchased separately. This includes dining at Horizons, fine dining at the club, pool privileges, work out facility, tennis, croquet and golf! About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this condo is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to reserve a Cape Fear area rental & When to go:

  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summertime is high season in the Cape Fear area area. Reserve your rental property in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.

  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
