Discover the calming serenity of Bald Head Island tucked within pretty live oaks and over looking Hole #3 on the golf course. Our home consists of four bedrooms each having their own full bath. Three of the bedrooms all have queen size beds and the fourth bedroom consists of two twins each having a trundle. Our home features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining and living area all on one level. The kitchen is the chefs dream. We are completely supplied and well equipped! We have a cavernous screen porch and a sizable broad deck along the maritime forest. We are located on a half an acre, which is not common on Bald Head Island. We are very private although just around the corner from the beach, the harbor and the maritime stores. We have plenty of beach gear, 2 golf carts and wifi.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

• When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
