Oh Happy Day is a beach bungalow with decorator touches and no detail forgotten making this a very special vacation home. This home features a coastal appeal with an open floor plan. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, ceiling fan, and intelligent TV. A entirely outfitted kitchen and an eight-foot dining table are ideal for huge family meals and gatherings.

Outside you will find covered front and back porches, rocking chairs, rope swings, a picnic table, lounge chairs, and a saltwater pool! Of course, there's a heated outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand after a long day at the beach. There is even a bocce ball court on the side of the home so you can end the day with a friendly and fun challenge! Don't miss out on this striking island hideaway with vistas of the ocean across the street! The beach access is to the East of the home at 1017 OBW. This pool may be heated from September - May for an additional $500 fee per week. Please note that under optimal conditions, the pool can be heated 10 degrees above the outside temperature/max. of 87°F. Located in Holden Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. Lockwood Folly Country Club and River's Edge Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Holden Beach and Big Beach. When to book a Cape Fear area rental & When to go:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the best value, consider shifting your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean?
