Oh Happy Day is a beach bungalow with decorator touches and no detail forgotten making this a very special vacation home. This home features a coastal appeal with an open floor plan. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, ceiling fan, and intelligent TV. A entirely outfitted kitchen and an eight-foot dining table are ideal for enormous family meals and gatherings.

Outside you will find covered front and back porches, rocking chairs, rope swings, a picnic table, lounge chairs, and a saltwater pool! Of course, there's a heated outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand after a long day at the beach. There is even a bocce ball court on the side of the home so you can end the day with a friendly and fun challenge! Don't miss out on this beautiful island hideaway with vistas of the ocean across the street! The beach access is to the East of the home at 1017 OBW. This home is not part of the Pointe West community. We hope you choose “OH Happy Day!” for your vacation ... you will not be disappointed.

This pool may be heated from September - May for an additional $500 fee per week. Please note that under optimal conditions, the pool can be heated 10 degrees above the outside temperature/max. of 87°F. Please call our office for more details as for optimal use, this service should be scheduled in advance.

Appreciate a welcome set of starter amenities, including K cups, two rolls of paper towels, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher pods, hand soap, dish soap, kitchen cleaning wipes, and a sponge. All bathrooms include two rolls of toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, makeup wipes, and bar soap. Your beds are made with fresh linens and a lightweight blanket, so you can jump right into making memories rather than making beds! While we provide a lightweight blanket, we urge you to bring additional layers for your comfort. Please note that while top bunk beds, trundles, sleeper couches, futons, and daybeds will not be made, we will provide fresh linens for them.

This owner also provides bath & beach towel sets (one bath towel, one beach towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth) per occupancy for your convenience.

You can choose from a range of items including bicycles, kayaks, paddleboards, body boards, and more. Located in Holden Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. Lockwood Folly Country Club and River's Edge Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Holden Beach and Big Beach. When to go & When to book:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are high season in Holden Beach. To book the best vacation home within budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
