How to get the best Carolina Beach vacation rental experience:

When to go & When to book:

  • Summer time is high season in Carolina Beach. To get the best rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitors guides which often include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning, selecting, and booking the bestrental:

  • Choose your vacation dates and budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. ? 3 Little Birds at The Beach? has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly available on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property owner before booking the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is right for your family.
  • If there's a particular Cape Fear area attraction you are enamored with, keep an eye out for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a property that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some hosts charge additional pet fees.

More tips for your visit:

  • We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure damages aren't linked to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the rental manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your life at home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a great stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
